Why is nursing clothing so boring?

When you were pregnant and buying maternity clothing, did you also think: "Gosh, is this all I can wear during my pregnancy?" And then again, when you started breastfeeding, did you ask yourself: "Why are breastfeeding tops so not funny and unoriginal?"

I find it crazy how all maternity wear looks all the same. The colors usually vary between white, gray, black and navy blue with some rare colorful styles, and it's all so boring! I've rarely come across pieces that weren't plain or that had fun imagery.

Of course, the most important thing with nursing clothing is to make it practical so that the mother wearing it can start breastfeeding quickly and with ease.

But how does this prevent designing pieces that are a bit more creative? I guess the only logical reason for the serious lack of fun maternity clothing is that it's created in a way that sells to the biggest market possible.

Do you like what you wear to bed?

fun cute pajamas

When it comes to nursing sleepwear, it's the same thing, if not worse. I've always enjoyed wearing fun pajamas showing cartoons of kitties or dinosaurs, for example.

Do you know the feeling I'm talking about? There's something so nice about putting on your favorite, comfortable and funny or cute pyjamas before going to bed. 😴

Needless to say, when I started wearing breastfeeding-friendly pajamas, this was no longer possible. And actually, I didn't even find nursing sleepwear I could find very convenient at all...

Wouldn't it be lovely to go to bed wearing something you like?

Especially when our nights as new moms promise to be tough, I feel like it would already be a bit nicer if we could wear PJs that we enjoy, maybe even that we find funny!

All of this is why I'd like to provide new mothers with awesome nursing pajamas that they'll enjoy wearing and that will even make them smile. 😊

+ My bonus solution: integrated milk absorbent system to keep your pajamas and your bed dry! I know that I would always end up soaking my pyjamas or my bedsheets, as sleeping with a bra was absolutely out of the question for me (I found it already hard enough to feel comfortable!)
